Both girls came home to be with their families last spring. They are very close and missed each other when they left China. The girls were so excited to see each other when we got together. They are just like sisters. When Jennifer saw Mia get in the van and they started driving away the tears just started streaming down her face. She said, " I miss my Mia, I miss my Mia!" I just started crying with her and told her it was okay to miss her, but reassured her that we would see her again. She said, "I know, but I still miss her." Their are 9 families here in Guangzhou. We have developed some wonderful friendships and it has been such a blessing to be able to share our adoption journey. <br /> <br />Sunday morning we went Shamain Island to go shopping in the afternoon was our paper party or more appropriatly our paper panic. <br /> <br />On Monday we went back to Shamain Island to gets kids physicals and visa pictures. Then we had more time for shopping.<br /> <br />Jennifer is bonding very well with us and is showing more and more of her personality. She is very outgoing and she memics her daddy. She is picking up english and is a smart little girl. She can say I love you, thank you, hello, momma and pappa, night/night and counts to 5. <br /><br />This will be our last update until Hong Kong. She was very attached to them. She cried and cried and we could not console her for the longest time. My heart just ached for her. <br /> <br />Jennifer is really bonding to both of us, now She is such a sweet little girl and always wants to please you. She now, calls us mama and baba, daddy in Mandarin. She is a real daddy's girl. Whenever we go out in puiblic she has to hold his hand or have him carry her. Ed just loves it. She is beginning to speak a few English words. She is very polite and always says thank you. She loves it when you put puzzles together with her and read books to her. It is so cute when she talks in Mandarin. We can't always understand what she says, but she is very smart and lets you know what she wants. She loves to see pictures of us all together as a famiily. We love her so much. She gave me her first kiss last night. God has answered all our prayers. It is hard to describe all the emotions that are going through my head right now. We are about to become parents for the first time and receive the most incredible gift that God could give us, our daughter, Jennifer Lianna. I understand what it means to be adoptive sons and daughters of our Lord and how much he loves us. We love this little girl so much already and can't wait to meet her and tell her how much we love her. We feel so blessed that God has chosen us to be her parents and pray that she feel loved and safe with us. I can't imagine what she must be thinking right now and all this precious little girl is going to have to go through. Please pray that God has prepared her heart that she it will be a smooth transition for her.<br /> <br />Thank you to all of our friends and family who have been praying for us through this whole adoption process. Some of you have been praying for us even before we began the process. God is so good and and his love endures forever. <br /> <br />We are going to be getting Jennifer Lianna today at 2:30. They will be bringing the children here to the hotel. There are 3 other families here with us who also be getting there children. We have become like familly, sharing all our thoughts and emotions together. We have laughed together, prayed together, and cried together. I am so thankful that we have God has blessed us with such wonderful families and friends to shrare this experience with.<br /> <br />Dear Mom and Dad I know you're up in heaven today smiling down as you see my dream of becoming a mom come true. Thank you mom and dad for giving me the most incredible gift of love that any parents could give their daughter.
